The name is based on a spirit that is residing in the shrine, called Shirley. There area several mystical carvings on the walls that seem to emanate the power of Dragoons. The shrine is full of empty treasure chests and guarded by Drake the Bandit.
Chapter 1: The Serdian WarEdit
A Cure For ShanaEdit
Now as you venture through come to the entrance where Rose notices a Dragon insignia on the wall and you all pull out your dragoon spirits, revealing that there is a dragoon spirit somewhere within the temple. So you venture in and encounter random enemies, to the right there is a path that leads to a different dragon insignia that will end up healing all your members. As you venture further into the shrine you come to a number dial where Lavitz has you guess the three digits. For gamers who do not want to go all the way back to the beginning the number order is 3,5,2, but for those of you who need more experience head up the path and open the treasure chest containing a message saying "bye bye" and you go down a mine trail that as you go along reveals the three numbers. After you enter the number order a path is open leading to the next puzzle. It seems that there are two statues that can be rotated to make it so the stairs do not collapse, Once again the answers can be found throughout the temple but for those who are lazy the gold statue is turned front, where the silver statue is faced left. This leads you to a temple.
As soon as you reach the top you encounter a boss named Drake, he looks like a bandit/thief that seems to be guarding the temple. He is relatively easy if you have leveled up your dragoons at all. The two traps that he has are he pulls three bombs out of a chest and after the third roll they blow up on set character. The other trick he has is he creates wire that make it so you cannot do damage to him until you destroy the wire. It can sustain about 100 pts of damage.
After the battle the ghost of Shirley comes and reveals that there is no Dragoni Plant, but with the power of the Silver-Eyed Dragoon Spirit they could purge the poison, but she insisted that they be tested in battle to obtain it.
Don't forget to check the Temple for additional prizes. But if you want to exit quickly then you go down the stairs and take the path leading up to the single treasure chest (as mentioned earlier) where you will receive a free, non battle, ride to the entrance.
All treasure chests in the shrine are empty except for notes that tell you to leave. Some trigger traps that will be necessary to go through if on your first play through. The only chests that have any real treasure are at the top of the shrine, guarded by Drake. but you can get to it once you defeat him.
The contents of the room include a Healing Breeze, Demon Stiletto, and 140 gold.
