Screw Shell is a water element creature of which is located on board the Queen Fury and within the Undersea Cavern.

This creature appears much as a crab would what with it's odd movement and the shape of it's legs and eyes, also the prominent shell it wears. It's yellow shell resembles a drill.

This creature deals low physical damage and shouldn't really pose much of a threat, however, it is a great creature to train Additions on, similar to the Spider Urchin. This is due to it having the ability: Physical Attack Barrier. It actually uses that ability quite often, enough even that you could occasionally consider it spamming. When it's health reaches critical it heals by minor health, but that only brings it's health from red to yellow. Chances are if it needs to heal, you will be capable of defeating it in the next hit. Quite generally, these creatures are not fought alone. When in groups of two or three they can become a little annoying if they spam Physical Attack Barrier unless you need them to, however, still seem to do minimal damage in groups. Even when paired with other creatures their damage is minimal to none, with such low interference or at least non note worthy.

  • Shell Twist - Jumps in the air towards a single target quite rapidly and spins it's body simulating a drill due to it's shell.
  • Physical Attack Barrier - Becomes invulnerable towards physical attacks for the duration of an entire turn.
  • HP Recovery - Recovers 48 health when health is critical.

Encounter rate: Very common

Battle pairing / formationEdit

All battle formations of which you will encounter a Screw Shell.

  • Screw Shell
  • Screw Shell x2 + Glare
  • Screw Shell x2 + Mermaid

These creatures can drop Healing Potion with a rare probability of 8%. It is a very long process to obtain these on average, weighing at roughly 40 minutes or more, this varies however from person to person and their luck. Considering you can buy these anywhere for 10G, within treasure chests, and should have several with you anyways, they aren't worth farming in the slightest, however, it is beneficial to recieve one randomly, especially with the boss being right there basically.
