The Orc is a Dark based enemy found in the Limestone Cave. It has the highest Defense and second highest Attack and third highest HP in the Cave, and appears in multiple formations.

Appearance

Orc isn't like other fantasy Orcs which usually are big and green brutes. Legend of Dragoon 's is a very original Orc which instead looks like a humanoid boar which is shorter than a human and holds a pickaxe. There is another enemy with the same model but different texture map called the Piggy found in the Home of Gigantos.

Battle

It has a better chance to flee from battle especially if the stronger enemies are defeated.

• Sickle Rush - Runs up to target and slashes them for minor damage
• Heal - The orc recovers 30% of its maximum HP; 7 HP US
• Run Away - The orc flees the battle

Battle pairing / formation

All battle formations in which you will encounter an Orc:

• Orc
• Orc + Ugly Balloon
• Orc x2 + Ugly Balloon
• Orc + Screaming Bat x2

The Orc x2 + Ugly Balloon formation is probably the toughest in the Cave.

Drop

Attack Items are, if anything, overpowered, so if you are lucky enough to get a Dark Mist just passing through, then good. Since you can simply buy them, and Dark damage is by far the weakest due to there being a grand total of five Light Enemies, farming them is not recommended.
