Sacred Sister Miranda of Mille Seseau is the final character to join the party in Legend of Dragoon. She replaces Shana in Disc 3 when the latter feels her Dragoon spirit rejects her as its host in the chamber of the Signet Sphere.

Miranda is bitter and angry whenever something important comes up but no one but her past can explain why.

Miranda is like Shana, she is an archer in the game. Like all archers she has no additions. She does however gain SP for each arrowhead she gets.
[edit] Dragoon
The White Silver Dragoon is all about healing your party. While the Dragoon does have some attacks, 75% of the spells heal your party. Also, since the White Silver Dragoon is a very strong magic user, the magical attacks do quite a bit of damage. Since this Dragoons physical attacks are normally weaker, the percentage of boost is up to 220%, instead of the normal 170%.

Miranda was born in the northern country of Mille Seseau. Her mother named her after the goddess Miranda and was proud of her child. However her mother was not suited to the life of homemaker. Her father was lazy, unemployed and an alcoholic who had a bad habit of drinking away all the money Miranda's mother made. This frustration led her to beat Miranda and eventually drove her into the arms of another man. The stress built up in Miranda's mother and she abandoned her child and husband for a new life with this man. This loss affected Miranda greatly, but instead of becoming over emotional about it, she locked her emotions surrounding the issue deep within herself. She spent lots of time at Kashua Glacier to contemplate her loneliness in solitude. Eventually her father died leaving her an orphan with nothing.
[edit] Chapter 3: Fate and Soul
She first appears to the player when they visit Deningrad after the events occur for Rose and Meru and when the Divine Dragon reigns terror over Deningrad. Miranda is a tough person in the game. Being that she was abandoned in her early childhood from her mother and gave her away to Queen Teresa. The group heads down the stairs, but Albert asks Dart to wait for Shana. Miranda then says they have no times for this. Dart heads back up and Setie tells them that Shana went into the chamber of the Signet Sphere. Here Dart, Miranda, and Albert look on. Shana says that she won't be able to hold onto the White Silver Dragoon spirit any longer and that she's had this feeling for a long time. The spirit is taken from her and is passed onto Miranda. Miranda becomes the next White Silver Dragoon. She accepts her role as a Dragon Knight. The group takes off to the Forest of Winglies to talk to the ancestor, this is when Meru reveals that she is a Wingly herself. Meru opens up the pathway and the group heads in. Dart and company encounter one of the Bardel brothers. He throws a powerful orb of fire but Dart encounters it as he transforms into the Red-Eyed Dragoon. This in turn scares the Bardel brother and he falls to his knees. Dart, Rose, and Meru pass by and head over to see the Ancestor Wingly. The Ancestor opens the pathway to the Royal Capital Kadessa also known to the Winglies as the Forbidden Land, (an ancient Wingly Capitol that was seen in the Dragon Campaign when Zieg led the dragoon army to fight for their freedom against Melbu Frahma.) Here Dart and the rest look for the Dragon Block Staff. The group rushes through and they encounter a Super Virage to which Rose says this is the one that killed Belzac. The Virage wakes up and they have to fight it. After that the group goes off to encounter the Grand Jewel, the guardian of the Dragon Block Staff. The group wins and they take the staff and head off to go counter the attack of the King of Dragons, the Divine Dragon. Just as they are about to arrive the Divine Dragon destroys Deningrad. Miranda rushes through to go check up on Queen Teresa. Queen Teresa and Shana are in the room and she says that Shana saved them all. The group decides to go to Mountain of Mortal Dragon. Here they enter, Hachel and Albert look at a corpse and say that this looks freshly killed. Though no one has gone up the mountain. As they get higher Rose says the dragon is fighting someone because the clash of swords is going off. The group rushes up and encounter Lloyd. Lloyd wielding the Dragon Buster says the dragon is almost dead. Lloyd leaves and they finish off the dragon. As they beat it, Lloyd rushes in and impales the Divine Dragon on its Divine Eye and the dragon dies. The spirit comes out and Lloyd takes it saying this is the Divine Dragoon spirit, but of course it won't accept me as its master. Lloyd takes off in a warp. The group rushes down the mountain pursuing him. Lloyd is seen and Dart and Rose rush at him. Lloyd takes out his wings of light and creates a powerful orb of fire and throws it at them revealing he was a Wingly all along. Dart and Rose get thrown off the mountain. Meru flies down and takes them back up one at a time. They go back to the Deningrad, but on the way Wink and her soldiers get attacked by a Wingly, the other Bardel brother. He takes out the knights and Wink is left there all alone. Lloyd protects her and kills the Bardel brother with the Dragon Buster. The group rushes a few weeks later into Deningrad but the Sacred Sisters say that their Queen was taken from them by a man named Lloyd, this angers Miranda a lot. They head for the Kashua Glacier and go into the Tower of Flanvel. Here they encounter Lloyd and they fight him once and for all. Lloyd loses the fight but is "saved" by Wink when Dart attacks to kill him once and for all. Lloyd asks him to kill him so Dart rushes but drops his sword because he wants to punch him. Dart leaves and the rest of the group meet at the bottom. Miranda asks Queen Teresa if they can borrow the Moon Mirror, she allows it. They find out Shana was taken to Vellweb. They then head for the Snowfield, (a side-quest that they can do id go retrieve the Soul Eater). They head for Vellweb. Here Rose talks about the Dragon Campaign. Later, Shirley is seen once again and asks Rose and friends to help free the souls of the prior Dragoons that served in the Dragon Campaign so they can make their way to heaven after they are finished talking to this Emperor Diaz. Rose agrees and the group heads into a chamber and meet with Emperor Diaz. Here Lloyd is turned on and is sent down to the ground. Dart and Rose then ask a few things. Emperor Diaz takes off his head helmet and it reveals Zieg Feld, Dart's father and Rose's fiance during the Dragon Campaign. Zieg tells Dart that Rose was the one that torched down Neet, this angers Dart a bit. Zieg also tells Rose how she failed to kill the Moon Child saying that Princess Louvia had a twin sister. He carries Shana over and tells her that she is the Moon Child. Zieg then asks Dart if he will kill his childhood friend. Rose takes over saying she'd be happy to do it. Zieg doesn't allow this and throws Rose off to the side. Zieg and Shana leave and the party is left in Vellweb.
