Master Tasman taught Dart Feld, the protagonist of The Legend of Dragoon, the art of the sword. He offers practice fights and explanations about the battle system at the beginning of the game.
Story[]
Presumably before Dart embarked on his journey to pursue the Black Monster three years before the events of the game, Master Tasman was Dart's teacher in swordfighting.
When the Sandoran army raided Seles, Tasman defended the town and survived the battle with light injuries, however he was unable to stop the enemies as he was outnumbered.

He can be talked to in Seles after Dart has defeated the Commander in the beginning of the game. Upon talking to him, he will teach the player about the essential addition system. With nothing else to pass down to the young swordsman, Tasman later leaves Seles to embark on a journey.
Practice Fight[]
Master Tasman provides lessons and practice opportunities about various battle commands. The different lessons the player can choose from are:
- About Additions: Tasman talks about how additions are used.
- About Counterattacking: Tasman talks about monster counterattacking and how to counter it.
- About Defense: Tasman talks about defending.
- Obtaining Additions: Tasman talks about how new additions are obtained.
- "I am fine.": Ends the training.

In the ending cutscene reel, Master Tasman can be seen walking the lively streets of Lohan outside of the Arena. He can be seen in the background of the shot behind Librarian Ute, Commodore Puler, Kayla, Dabas and other unnamed NPC's.
